Standard 16X2 LCD character module (backlight/blue screen)
1602 uses a standard 16-pin interface, including:

Pin 1:  VSS is the ground power

Pin 2: VDD connects 5V positive power

Pin 3: V0 is the contrast adjustment terminal of the LCD. The contrast is the weakest when the positive power is connected, and the contrast is the highest when the ground power is connected. When the contrast is too high, it will shows "ghost images". You can adjust the contrast through a 10K potentiometer when you use it.

Pin 4: RS is the register selection, the data register is selected at high level, and the instruction register is selected at low level.

Pin 5: R/W is the read and write signal line, read operation at high level, and write operation at low level. When RS and RW are low together, you can write commands or display addresses. When RS is low and RW is high, you can read the busy signal. When RS is high and RW is low, you can write data.

Pin 6: The E terminal is the energy terminal. When the E terminal is high level and the program is low level, the LCD module executes the command.

Pin 7~14: D0~D7 are 8-bit bidirectional data lines.

Pin 15: Positive backlight power supply

Pin 16: Negative power supply of backlight
